What Leaders Choose to Read
Leaders who carry real responsibility tend to be thoughtful consumers of information. What they read shapes how they see the world, the questions they ask, and the decisions they make.
Over time, I’ve noticed that strong CEOs are not just looking for tactics or headlines. They look for perspective. They read to understand trends, to challenge their own thinking, and to stay aware of the forces shaping their organizations and industries.
In my work with executives, I often encourage them to keep a small set of trusted publications and voices close at hand. Not to chase every new idea, but to stay grounded in informed, steady awareness. Good leadership requires both focus and context.
In the weeks ahead, I’ll be sharing a curated mix of articles, blogs, and podcasts that I’ve found valuable — resources that offer insight, not noise, and that support leaders who want to think clearly and lead responsibly.
More leaders today are also using digital platforms and internal communication channels to share what they are learning with their teams. When done thoughtfully, this becomes a simple but meaningful way to support learning, alignment, and ongoing development across the organization.
Because leadership is not just shaped by experience.
It’s shaped by what we consistently choose to pay attention to.
